I cannot help but write this for her.
To tell her:
"I'm sorry for every word I wrote to change you.
I'm sorry for so many things.
I couldn't see you when you were here.
And now that you're gone, I see you everywhere."
"One may read this and think it's magic...
...but falling in love is an act of magic.
So is writing.
It was once said of Catcher in the Rye:
'That rare miracle of fiction has again come to pass.
A human being has been created out of ink, paper and the imagination.'
I am no J.D. Salinger...but I have witnessed a rare miracle.
Any writer can attest in the luckiest, happiest state...
...the words are not coming from you, but through you.
She came to me wholly herself.
I was just lucky enough to be there to catch her."
I saw Mary Is Happy a few months back, but only recently I've decided to write a review-ish. A friend influenced me to screencap movie frames and upload them. With Mary Is Happy, I had LOTS.
IMO, this movie is impossible to watch then take in at face value. The absence of an audio bed, gives lots of quiet moments and helps you to think deeper and reflect. I recommend watching this movie alone with earphones on.
With your world in a bag by your side
And all at once it seemed like a good way
You realized it's the end of your life
For what it's worth
Here comes the train upon the track
And there goes the pain it cuts to black
Are you ready for the last act?
To take a step you can't take back
Take in all the punches you could take
Took 'em all right on your chest
Now the countless back is breaking
Again, again
For what it's worth
Did she love you?
Did she take you down?
Was she on her knees when she kissed your crown?
Tell me what you found
Here comes the rain, so hold your hat
And don't pray to God, cause He won't talk back
Are you ready for the last act?
To take a step you can't take back
You know what? I'm also taking a step I know I can't take back. But for the first time, I'm not afraid. I think I may actually even be ready.
Four possible motives behind an Ex Lunch 1) They want to get back together 2) They want to kill you 3) They want to give your stuff back 4) To rub your face in how great they're doing - Barney (Season 4, Ep 16: Sorry, Bro)
Allison Cameron, M.D, Immunologist. Part of House's team of handpicked specialists in the Department of Diagnostic Medicine at Princeton Plainsboro. In real life, she's Jennifer Morrison. I've always liked her character. She's this humanist and thoughtful doctor who always try to fix people and relationships. She is known for her honesty, sincerity, idealism and strong ethical center. She has a lot in common with Dr Masters (season 7) Anyway, here are some of Cameron's quotes throughout the series. "Sex could kill you. Do you know what the human body goes through when you have sex? Pupils dilate, arteries constrict, core temperature rises, heart races, blood pressure skyrockets, respiration becomes rapid and shallow, the brain fires bursts of electrical impulses from nowhere to nowhere, and secretions spit out of every gland, and the muscles tense and spasm like you're lifting three times your body weight. It's violent, it's ugly and it's messy, and if God hadn't made it unbelievably fun, the human race would have died out eons ago." (from Occam's Razor) "I still think true Love's out there it's just very far away. Possibly in another galaxy. We may need to develop faster than light travel before we can make contact." (from Insensitive) "Despite the wisdom of pop songs. there's no point in putting our lives on hold 'til love comes along." (from Insensitive) "You can't control your emotions...just your actions." (from Spin)
"You're not gonna get everything right. But you're never gonna get everything wrong." (from Whatever It Takes) "If you have to do something, do it. But don't think it's the right choice because there isn't one."
Henry: You both know that I have a partner on the force, right? Young Gus and Shawn: Yes sir. Henry: Well we couldn't do our job if we didn't trust each other completely. There are rules to our partnership and they are the same rules to our friendship. Even Battleship. But those rules don't work without what? Young Gus and Shawn: Trust sir.
I love this song, for some reason. Hahaha. Enjoy! Aaaand here's an HD vid for all those Disney princesses out there haha. And a video of my favorite cover of this song :)
If there's a prize for rotten judgement I guess I've already won that No man is worth the aggravation That's ancient history-- Been there, done that! Who'd'ya think you're kiddin' He's the Earth and heaven to you Try to keep it hidden Honey, we can see right through you Girl, ya can't conceal it We know how ya feel and Who're you're thinking of
No chance, no way I won't say it, no, no You swoon, you sigh Why deny it, uh-oh! It's too cliché I won't say I'm in love I thought my heart had learned its lesson It feels so good when you start out My head is screaming get a grip, girl Unless you're dying to cry your heart out, oh You keep on denying Who you are and how you're feeling Baby, we're not buying Hon, we saw ya hit the ceiling
Face it like a grown up When ya gonna own up That ya got, got, got it bad No chance, no way I won't say it, no, no Give up, give in Check the grin, you're in love This scene won't play I won't say I'm in love You're doin' flips Read our lips You're in love You're way off base I won't say it Get off my case I won't say it Girl, don't be proud It's ok, you're in love Oh... At least out loud I won't say I'm in love
The Simpsons is one of my favorite series of all time. Here are a few quotes on love I've collected from rewatching The Simpsons this summer:
You know, boys, a nuclear reactor is a lot like a woman. You just have to read the manual and press the right buttons. -homer "Moe, this is a great thing for you. You went from sitting on the sidelines to getting in the game. Sometime, when you least expect it, you'll realize that someone loved you and that means someone can love you again, and that will make you smile." - Homer "Who'd have thought that such a little woman could make me feel so big?" -Moe Marge: "Aww, young love. Were we ever that stupid?" Homer: "Of course we were." "marge, I hope this day is as perfect for you as the day we met was for me. You'll always find the one grain of sugar in the salt shaker that is I. with each marriage, I get a little better. maybe after a thousand, I'll be worthy of you. I miss you." - Homer "You know something, folks, as ridiculous as this sounds, I would rather feel the sweet breath of my beautiful wife on the back of my neck as I sleep, than stuff dollar bills into some stranger's G-string." - Homer
"If you're leaving to get away from something that you did, emotionally maybe you want to run away, but in my experience, if you're staring at a pitbull in some guy's back yard, you're better off staying right where you are. Face the problem. That way it can't bite you in the ass." - Lucas, House M.D.
Bonjour! Hahaha. “Bonjour” means good day, so if it’s evening then, “bonsoir!” which means good evening.
I have been posting a LOT of French stuff all over everything: Facebook, Twitter, and even here. Let me tell you something, mon lecteurs. I'm not French. But I fell in love with them. It all started when a friend told me to listen to Voir Sur Ton Chemin, a soundtrack by Bruno Coulais from the French musical Les Choristes. Here’s the song:
Really awesome, right? I fell in love with it the first time I heard it. I downloaded all the other soundtracks looked for a copy of the musical itself. I searched for the lyrics, but I realized knowing the lyrics is not enough, I had to understand. So I went searching for the translation. Apparently there are hundreds, and of course, I wanted the most accurate. That’s when I realized I wanted to study the language and be able to apply it. I went for self-tutoring. Alangan naming mag-lessons pa ko. First I searched for common words and phrases, and then downloaded recordings. I also bought a French-English dictionary. On my spare time I studied French grammar online. Self-tutoring went on for 3 months, after which I became very busy. I can only give little time to study. Moreover, I don’t know anyone who speaks French fluently, so I wasn’t able to really practice. Currently, I'm back to French 101. Perseverance pays. Studying, practicing, preparing is the way to success. Whoever told you you have limits, they’re wrong. Everything can be done and mastered with practice. If didn’t practice enough and given it enough time, I wouldn’t be fluent in French. But I'm not, because I didn’t study and practice enough. See the point?
Due to popular demand, or just random occurrences in my life telling me to write something like this, I will now share this song Ralph and I love from a rock musical we love so much. As in. We love it so much he cries every time we watch Angel die *oops spoiler* :)) This is our official strolling song. Hahahaha. Enjoy! Live in my house, I'll be your shelter Just pay me back with one thousand kisses Be my lover and I'll cover you, yeah Open your door, I'll be your tenant Don't got much baggage to lay at your feet But sweet kisses I've got to spare I'll be there and I'll cover you I think they meant it When they said you can't buy love Now I know you can rent it A new lease you are my love On life, all my life I've longed to discover Something as true as this is So with a thousand sweet kisses, I'll cover you If you're cold and you're lonely With a thousand sweet kisses, I'll cover you You've got one nickel only With a thousand sweet kisses, I'll cover you When you're worn out and tired With a thousand sweet kisses, I'll cover you When your heart has expired Oh lover, I'll cover you, yeah Oh lover, I'll cover you
"Everybody lies." "I don't ask why patients lie, I just assume they all do." "It's a basic truth of the human condition that everybody lies. The only variable is about what." "Truth begins in lies." "I've found that when you want to know the truth about someone that someone is probably the last person you should ask." "You want to know how two chemicals interact, do you ask them? No, they're going to lie through their lying little chemical teeth. Throw them in a beaker and apply heat."
Nope, not misspelled. It's a novel by Michael Scott, and it tells of the story of an immortal guy named Nicholas Flamel and the twins Sophie and Josh Newman. Full of history, magic, and really cool twists. I actually like this more than Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist basically because it's fast paced and I never got bored. Lol. Anyway, I really recommend reading these books. :)
The Alchemyst: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel
The Magician: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel
The Sorceress: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel
The Necromancer: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel
The Warlock: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel
The Enchantress: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel
Apparently, there is a book trailer of the Alchemyst on Youtube. (Not a very cute opening frame but what the hell)
If it doesn't work, click here. You can check out other book trailers, there are about a hundred of them.
Also, if you have a 4shared account, you may download the series here.
Have you heard the Assumption Song? LOL. First time I heard this I got LSS. Not because it triggered my neural impulses and heightened secretion of certain neurochemicals in my brain but because it was really catchy. =)) Here's the video. If it doesn't work, click here. Have fun!
