Love them anyway.

People are stupid, selfish, unreasonable.
You give people your trust, they break it.
Serve them, and they demand more.
They’re stupid, always thinks you’re trying to overpower them.
People are insecure.
People only do things for themselves.
They do things for you because it will benefit them.
Their decisions are impulsive.
They live poorly in all aspects of their lives.
People cheat, steal, lie.
People screw up.

Love them anyway.

Because if we don’t love them, and the rest of the world doesn't love them, who will be left to do that? Nobody deserves to feel alone. We are all very special with some kind and amount of potential that, with the right guidance, can immeasurably contribute to the world.

We love for people. We expend this much effort for them, not for us. If we love only ourselves, we will be so full of love we won’t be able to handle it.

We are given the capacity to love, why not use it? What better way to live our lives than to love others and be of unrelenting service to them? Trust me, seeing other people happy, especially those whose lives you've touched, is much, much better than watching TV all day.
