Forevermore

Floating in the midnight air
Was a song
A lullaby of sweetest accord
Of the calm heavenly stars
That seek to tell the words,
That long to see the smile,
That feel what is felt there.

And he who goes to sing
the songs of the stories before us
Shall feel with all his heart
The words who sing of love and ardor
The smile that brings smile
What is there that shall be forevermore.

It's been a while since I wrote a poem so here ya go, dearies. :)
