The Right to True Love

What is it with this incessant search for true love? People go here and there looking for their freaking Prince Charming or whatever, like this is their fairy tale love story. Hate to break it to ya, but if there's one thing I believe regarding this true love shit, it's this: NO ONE IS BORN WITH THE RIGHT TO TRUE LOVE.

Oo, KJ kasi talaga ako. Hahaha. But seriously, I really don't think people are born with the right to true love. It's not like human dignity or whatever that you are automatically armed with the second you breathe air (no offense, fundie pro-lifers). It's not like that. It's not like that at all. I believe that the right to true love is earned.

I'm not that heartless to mean that some people don't deserve to be loved truly. It's just that, I believe people are given true love when they're ready to receive it, and everyone has a potential to someday be ready for it. Para ejemplo: you don't give matches to people who don't know how to use them. Baka makasunog lang sila ng bahay. There is an unmistakably slightly higher tendency to just disregard, misunderstand or, worse, misuse, whatever you're given when you don't know shit about it: what it is, what it's for, what needs to be done etc. Intiende?

For me, para syang pagmamaneho. Everyone has a potential to learn to drive and it's up to you whether you want to or not. But one thing is certain: you can only be given a car when you learn how to drive.

I honestly have no idea how to end this article. I'm just frustrated I guess. I love you dito, I love you doon.

Or siguro bitter lang ako. Chos.
